A collection of Interpretative photos, educational resources, and thoughts about things. I acknowledge that I am a non-Indigenous Canadian living on the traditional lands of the Indigenous people who are the original stewards of this land. I hope to be guided by their respect for the land and I call on my society to respect the signed treaties between our nations.

This might be the transcript from suspect crashing gate where Prime Minister lives
RCMP security: “Commander we have a suspect in a pickup truck crashing into the gate of Rideau Hall where the Prime Minister and the Governor General live. Should we open fire?”
RCMP Commander: “Is the suspect Indigenous?”
RCMP Security: “No.”
RCMP Commander: “Is the suspect Black?”
RCMP Security: “No sir.”
RCMP Commander: “Is the suspect a person of any colour?”
RCMP Security: “No sir, the suspect is white.”
RCMP Security: “Then stand down immediately. We don’t shoot White people.”
RCMP Security: “But he’s carrying a gun.”
RCMP Commander: “Doesn’t matter. We don’t shoot White people.”
Junior Officer: “What if the suspect was Indigenous or a person of colour and they were unarmed?
RCMP Commander: “We would still shoot them dead. We have to protect the Prime Minister.”
