A collection of Interpretative photos, educational resources, and thoughts about things. I acknowledge that I am a non-Indigenous Canadian living on the traditional lands of the Indigenous people who are the original stewards of this land. I hope to be guided by their respect for the land and I call on my society to respect the signed treaties between our nations.

There are nice corporations out there: Anderson’s KIA
Saturday morning I went to Anderson’s KIA for an oil change, new wipers, and window treatment. I sat in the waiting room and read and got a lot of reading done because the whole process took an hour and a half. I didn’t complain and so I was surprised when they gave me a dash cam for taking too long. Nice! Thanks Anderson’s KIA.

A Inspiring Day
Today was one of those days that turn out better than expected. I got to attend two presentations made to Mike Downie and two staff members from the Downie-Wenjack foundation. It was incredible to hear of the work being done at KCI, WCI, and Ryerson PS with regard to the TRC and reconciliation. And it was inspiring to hear Mike Downie talk with the students about the work and goals of the foundation. As Jill said, “Goosebumps.”
